i think i’m gonna post a fanfic for the first time. It’s a short Sonaze-centric story. (the premise is very much a “throw those guys into a situation” type thing. Blaze loses her voice before a big important event and Sonic winds up acting as a conversation intermediate, repeating back her barely-audible whispers so everyone else can hear)
is it anything amazing? no.
is it made in the spirit of fun? yes.
do i enjoy what i wrote?? Yes!

seeing the sights with Blaze in her new dress ^^
had a whole tantrum confined to the margins of my art file the other day. immature, yeah, but i like the sound of emotions hitting the page.
Love the way you gave shape to sonic's shoes in your sonic and blaze drawing ^^ I know this is apparently a rather controversial take in the fandom, but I do wish they gave the in-game model sonic shoes more shape. It just scratches an itch in my brain I didn't know I had about his shoes lol

so historically i suck at drawing shoes, and that made me look at how others draw sonic’s shoes and absorb the idea of adding the curved form to them. it’s a very satisfying look! they look more realistic to me that way, resembling irl sneakers. agreed about the current game model shoes, honestly :/

hey sonaze fans come here and be crazy with me for 5 minutes: i made a sonaze phone lockscreen, all pictures from the IDW comics(issues 4, 30, 31, 32, 63) and one sonic rush screenshot
2 other variations under the cut with different color gradient filterings, trying to bring some harmony to it. edit: of course the colors look different on my phone than PC -u-

latest sonic IDW chapter has me unwell
been trying to do simplified landscapes in grayscale to make them easier for me. theyre pretty fun & relaxed if i stick with the pencil tool only. oh also eggs
